A restaurant on Rynok Square 34, in a 16th-century townhouse whose corner still carries the sculpture of a centaur holding a mug — the origin of the venue's nickname. Its restaurant history goes back to 1848, when Ludwig Stadmuller opened a restaurant-winery here; in the 1960s a bar called 'Na Rynku' operated in the building and locals dubbed it 'Kentavr'. It officially became Kentavr in 2007 under restaurateur Vardkes Arzumanian. Closed since October 2022, it was fully rebuilt and reopened in July 2024 as Cent Aura (Kentavra), part of the Restaron group, with a Mediterranean menu — wild fish, pasta and dishes reconstructed from 1930s recipes — a wine cellar, a terrace on Rynok Square and a display of a historic menu collection.
Yes, but under a new name. Closed since October 2022, it reopened in July 2024 after a full rebuild as Cent Aura (Kentavra) at 34 Rynok Square. The centaur-with-a-mug sculpture on the corner remains.
Mediterranean cuisine with Ukrainian accents — wild fish, a large pasta selection and dishes reconstructed from 1930s recipes, plus a wine cellar.
