Lvivarnia is a museum and cultural complex of beer history on the grounds of the Lviv Brewery, founded in 1715 and once one of the largest breweries in the Austro-Hungarian Empire. It occupies about 2,000 square metres: ten exhibition halls on three floors, eight interactive zones and over a thousand exhibits tracing brewing from antiquity to the modern production line. On the second floor you look down on the brewing vats and can handle and smell malt and hops, and since 2024 the KLEPKA craft microbrewery has been working inside the complex behind glass. A visit takes roughly 1.5-2 hours and ends in the tasting hall, where you can try a set of four classic Lvivske beers or KLEPKA craft sets. There is a souvenir shop, and the spaces are rented out for events.
The museum is open Thursday to Monday, 11:00-19:00. It is closed on Tuesday and Wednesday.
A guided visit lasts about 1.5-2 hours and finishes in the tasting hall.
No, the tasting set of four Lvivske beers is paid separately from the entry ticket.
