Free on Museum Day: Lviv National Art Gallery (including Potocki Palace and Furniture Museum), Ethnography Museum, Museum of Religion History, Sheptytsky museums. Discounted: Apothecary Museum, Korniakt Palace, Krushelnytska Museum. Check the venue's website for exact terms.
Walk-ins are fine for general admission. Guided tours, after-hours programs at Krushelnytska, and curator tours at the galleries require booking 1–2 days ahead.
Classic loop: Korniakt Palace (Rynok 6) → Apothecary Museum → Potocki Palace → Ethnography Museum → Lonckoho Prison Memorial. About 4–5 museums in a day at a relaxed pace.
Most museums run 10:00–18:00 but extend hours on Museum Day (some open until 22:00). Free admission usually doesn't require booking, but guided tours do. If you're aiming for a long crawl, start at Old Lviv (Rynok Square 6, Korniakt Palace), then Potocki Palace, then Ethnography Museum on Svobody. You can realistically cover 4–5 museums in a day. Kids tend to love the Arsenal Armory Museum and the Apothecary Museum.
