The Bernardine monastery on Soborna Square is among the best-preserved sacral ensembles in Lviv and part of the UNESCO World Heritage site. St Andrew's church was built in the 17th century; carved altars and murals survive inside, and the acoustics of the nave make it a venue for early- and organ-music festivals.
