Bukovel is Ukraine's largest ski resort. Note that it is not in Lviv region but in Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast, in the village of Polianytsia, about 250 km from Lviv. It has roughly 60–68 pistes totalling over 50 km and 17–19 lifts, with elevations from 920 m at the base to 1372 m on Mount Dovha. All slopes are covered by snow cannons and groomers, and several runs are floodlit for night skiing. In summer Bukovel works as a year-round resort with a water park, bike park, observation wheel, lake and lifts. It is the country's priciest and busiest resort — book accommodation and ski passes ahead for high season and the New Year period.
