"it's NOT NICE TO BE POLITE! Nicholas in a world where everything is the other way around"
4 December at 19:00 · Emily Resort · from 390 ₴
St Nicholas Day falls on 6 December under the Revised Julian calendar, adopted by the Orthodox Church of Ukraine and the Greek Catholic Church in 2023 (communities on the Julian calendar mark it on 19 December). The programme starts earlier still: residences open in the first days of December, theatres run children's shows, and city venues host workshops for making gifts and letters. Below are the events already announced — dates, venues, prices and no-markup tickets. The list refreshes daily and grows denser as the date nears.

On 6 December under the Revised Julian calendar, adopted by the Orthodox Church of Ukraine and the Greek Catholic Church in 2023; communities on the Julian calendar mark it on 19 December. The programme starts in the first days of December: residences, shows and workshops run for several weeks, not a single day.
The usual formats are St Nicholas residences with photo zones and workshops, children's theatre shows, and festive concerts. Every announced event is collected here with dates and prices.
One to two weeks ahead, and earlier for weekends: December morning shows sell out first.
Tickets for children's shows and residences in December are worth buying early — availability and price are on each event card. If you're bringing small children, check the age rating on the event card — «St Nicholas» in the title does not mean the show is aimed at preschoolers. Two neighbouring pages cover the rest of the family season: New Year and Christmas.
