Train, bus and flight tickets

Through the search at the top of the page: pick a route and a date and every carrier's services land in one list. The search itself, checkout and payment all happen on tickets.ua — the official partner service, not a reseller adding a markup. The e-ticket arrives by email right after payment.

For Ukrainian Railways trains, 20 days before departure — 10 days for some services from eastern Ukraine. European carriers set their own rules: RegioJet opens sales 60 days ahead, bus companies usually 30–90. The best seats and lowest fares tend to appear on the first days of sale.

Because there is no fixed price for a route: it depends on the date, the carrier, the class and how early you book. A “from” price almost always turns out to be unavailable on the date you need, so we deliberately don't invent one. The search shows the live fare, taken from the carriers.

Yes, under the carrier's rules. With Ukrainian Railways the closer to departure you cancel, the less you get back; European carriers and low-costs vary by fare type. Exchanges and refunds are handled by tickets.ua support, which works around the clock.

No — Ukrainian airspace is closed and Lviv airport is shut. Flying is still possible: the nearest working airports are Rzeszów, Krakow, Warsaw and Lublin, all reachable from Lviv by direct bus or train. On domestic routes the train usually wins on time and the bus on price and frequency. On international ones the border decides: trains clear control faster and more predictably, buses can wait from one to several hours. Each route page shows both options side by side.
