The Rybnyk viewpoint is a built panoramic platform on a cliff edge in Rybnyk village, Skhidnytsia hromada (Drohobych district). Opened on 27 September 2023 (World Tourism Day), it is the community's only official observation deck. It overlooks mountain ridges, forested canyons, a meander of the Stryi River with a small island, and a long suspension footbridge. Facilities are minimal but real: a wooden deck, benches and picnic tables. Access is free, with no ticket office or staff. Sunrise and sunset are the best times.
Rybnyk village is about 9 km from Skhidnytsia and 30 km from Drohobych. Come by car, or by bus/minibus from Skhidnytsia or Truskavets; a scenic footpath from Skhidnytsia also leads there (about a 40-minute walk).
No — access is free at any time. There is no ticket office, staff or opening hours.
