Skolivski Beskydy National Nature Park, established in 1999, covers about 35,700 hectares of the Ukrainian Carpathians in Lviv region, at altitudes of 600-1,260 m, with its administration in the town of Skole. The park is the umbrella over the area's best-known natural landmarks: the Kamianka, Hurkalo, Sopit and Laznyi waterfalls, Mount Parashka (1,268 m, the park's highest peak), Lake Zhuravlyne (the Dead Lake) and the Tustan rock complex. It maintains a network of marked eco-trails and hiking routes, from the one-hour "Buchyna" trail and the 4 km "Kamianka River Valley" trail to the 4-5 hour Skole-Parashka ascent and the 28 km Skole - Mt. Parashka - Maidan route. Designated camping meadows, picnic tables and grill spots are available in recreation zones. Skole lies about 107 km from Lviv (around 2 hours by car), and is reachable by bus and by train.
Hiking the marked trails is free in itself, but a small recreation fee is collected at popular spots (notably at the approach to the Kamianka waterfall from Dubyna village), and excursions, tent pitching and car parking are chargeable services. The park publishes its approved tariff list for the current year on skolebeskydy-park.in.ua - check it before your trip, as guidebooks quote outdated figures.
Head for the town of Skole, where the park administration is located: about 107 km from Lviv, roughly 2 hours by car. There are also regular buses from Lviv to Skole and trains on the Lviv-Mukachevo line to Skole station. Marked trails to the Kamianka and Hurkalo waterfalls and Mount Parashka start from Skole and the nearby villages of Dubyna, Korchyn and Maidan.
The 4 km "Kamianka River Valley" eco-trail takes about 2 hours; the Skole-Parashka ascent takes 4-5 hours, and the Skole - Hurkalo waterfall route 6-7 hours. A full day trip from Lviv with one serious route needs 10-12 hours including travel.

Access to the park's marked trails is free. A small recreation fee is charged at some locations (e.g. the approach road to the Kamianka waterfall), while guided excursions, tent pitching and car parking are paid services under the park's approved tariff. Current amounts are published in the park's official paid-services price list (2025 and 2026 editions) on its website; open sources quote conflicting, outdated figures.
