Truskavets is a balneological spa town in Lviv region, about 95 km from Lviv. It is not a single venue but a whole resort area: dozens of sanatoriums, hotels and guesthouses around the central spa park. Treatment is built around the «Naftusia» mineral water (plus «Sofia», «Maria», «Bronislava»), drunk at the town pump rooms on a schedule tied to meals; the profile is kidneys, liver, bile ducts and metabolism. Beyond treatment there is the Christ statue, the Lovers' Bridge, a dolphinarium and spa hotels such as Mirotel. Summer means park walks and concerts; winter is a quiet health-retreat season.
Truskavets lies about 95 km south of Lviv. By car it is roughly a 1.5-hour drive; there are also direct regional trains and regular buses/minibuses from Lviv bus station, taking about 2–2.5 hours.
It is Ukraine's best-known balneological resort, built around the «Naftusia» mineral water. Visitors drink it at the town pump rooms in the spa park and stay in one of the many sanatoriums and hotels.
The resort works year-round. May to September is the busiest and most pleasant for walking in the spa park; autumn and winter are quieter and usually cheaper, with treatment programmes available in any season.
