Villa Łomnica (Lomnytsia) is a locally listed architectural monument in Lviv's historic Vulka district, near the Vuletski Korso. It looks like a fairy-tale castle with a round tower and an asymmetric red-brick façade, built in the romantic historicism style with neo-Gothic touches. The villa was built in 1910–1911 to a design by builder and architect Karol Turkowski; the plot belonged to the future architects Jan Pfeiffer and Stanisław Rewucki. In 1927–1929 the Rewucki & Derdacki office rebuilt it with three separate entrances and three apartments. The name is linked either to Łomnický štít in the High Tatras or to the Lomnytsia (Limnytsia) river in the Carpathian foothills. Little was renovated in Soviet times, so many original details survive: a wooden staircase with turned balusters, old doors and windows with brass fittings, iron grilles and some of the stoves. The villa sits on a steep slope deep inside its plot and is barely visible from the street. Since 15 May 2026 it has been temporarily open to visitors for tours, photo shoots and private events (by appointment) while a new owner is sought.
