Ya Gallery is the art centre of Pavlo Gudimov — musician (formerly of Okean Elzy) and curator — which since 2007 has supported, developed and promoted contemporary Ukrainian art. Its Lviv venue occupies the second floor of a Secession-style building at 8 Shota Rustaveli St., built in 1905-1906 to a design by architect Wladyslaw Sadlowski. It presents curated projects and solo shows by Ukrainian artists, from 20th-century classics to today's authors, and hosts lectures, masterclasses, discussions and book presentations. The gallery is known for carefully constructed exhibition concepts and runs a shop with art books and editions.
Admission is UAH 100; entry is free for combat veterans and children under 12.
