Green Sofa Gallery («Zelena Kanapa») is a private contemporary art gallery founded in 2006 and located at 7 Virmenska St., in a medieval townhouse of the Armenian courtyard dating back to the 16th century. It is owned and curated by Olesia Domaradzka. The gallery shows works by contemporary Ukrainian painters, graphic artists, sculptors, ceramicists, icon painters and textile artists — around 50 artists a year, with exhibitions changing every three to four weeks. Alongside its exhibitions it operates as an art sales venue: works can be bought on site or through the online shop, and a virtual version of the gallery is also available.
