Mykhailo Haivoronskyi (1892–1949) was a Ukrainian composer, conductor, teacher and violinist from Zalishchyky. He studied at the Lysenko Higher Music Institute and organised the military band of the Ukrainian Sich Riflemen. He wrote more than 30 Sich Riflemen songs, the rhapsody «Dovbush», and choral and church music. In 1923 he emigrated to the United States and died in New York.
