INSO-Lviv (International Symphony Orchestra) is the academic symphony orchestra of the Lviv National Philharmonic. Founded in 1998, it has worked as a separate ensemble within the Philharmonic since 2010. For many years its artistic director was composer Myroslav Skoryk. Conductors who have worked with the orchestra include Krzysztof Penderecki, Oksana Lyniv and Dirk Brossé. Its repertoire ranges from symphonic classics to opera, jazz and popular music. INSO-Lviv regularly appears at the Virtuosi, Contrasts, Leopolis Jazz Fest and LvivMozArt festivals and has toured Europe as well as China, Colombia and Egypt. In 2024 Pentatone released its album with violinist Joshua Bell conducted by Dalia Stasevska, which The Times and The Sunday Times named among the best classical releases of the year. In Lviv the orchestra usually performs in the hall of the Lviv National Philharmonic.
