ONUKA

ONUKA is a Ukrainian electro-folk band founded in 2013 by vocalist Nata Zhyzhchenko and Yevhen Filatov. The name means "granddaughter", a tribute to the singer's grandfather, musical instrument maker Oleksandr Shlionchyk. The band combines electronics with the sopilka, bandura, trembita and other folk instruments; its well-known songs include "Misto" and "Vidlik". In 2017, together with the National Orchestra of Folk Instruments, it performed as a special guest in the Eurovision final in Kyiv.
