Baczewski Restauracja is one of Lviv's best-known restaurants, at 8 Shevska St, a few minutes from Rynok Square. The name recalls the Baczewski family, founders of the 19th-century Lviv vodka empire, and the place plays on interwar Galician luxury: three floors of themed halls, a glass-roofed winter-garden orangery, a terrace and a veranda. The kitchen serves new Galician cuisine, and the separate Baczewski Bar offers a wide range of nalyvkas, infusions and cocktails. Lunches come with live harp and cello, while mornings bring an unlimited buffet breakfast in the Orangery, played out on piano. The restaurant belongs to the Kumpel group and has a sister venue in Warsaw.
Breakfast is an unlimited buffet in the Orangery hall, daily 8:30–11:30, at roughly 390 UAH per adult (about 290 UAH for children aged 6–11, free under 6). Breakfast tables are not reserved — it is first come, first served, so come early on weekends. Prices may change, so confirm on the spot.
Open daily 08:30–23:00. Breakfast runs 8:30–11:30, after which the à la carte new Galician menu is served. Phone: +38 (098) 224-44-44.
