Limpopo is a private zoo in Medenychi, Lviv region (21 Lvivska St), roughly 80-90 km from Lviv on the road to Drohobych, and the largest zoo in the region. It keeps hundreds of animals and birds — lemurs, monkeys and gibbons, tigers, leopards, jaguars and pumas, as well as cranes, parrots, owls and birds of prey. The grounds are set up for family visits: QR codes beside the enclosures give information about the residents and a 3D map helps you navigate. Animal sponsorship programmes are available. Tickets can be bought at the gate or online on the official website. The zoo is open daily from 10:00 to 17:00. It is a conventional zoo rather than a petting zoo: visitors may not feed or touch the animals.
Under the tariffs effective from 1 March 2026: 350 UAH for adults and 250 UAH for children. Tickets are sold at the entrance and online at limpopo-zoo.com.ua.
The zoo is open daily from 10:00 to 17:00 according to its official website. Allow at least 2-3 hours for a visit.
