Masoch Café at 7 Serbska St is a themed venue of the !FEST holding dedicated to Leopold von Sacher-Masoch — the Lviv-born writer whose name gave us the word 'masochism'. The concept is deliberately provocative and adults-only (18+): quotes from his novels on the walls, a 'Mistress' greeting guests, theatrical serving of dishes and cocktails, and props to match. A bronze statue of Masoch stands at the entrance, one of the most photographed in the city. The kitchen serves European meat, fish and dessert dishes; a boutique hotel of the same name operates above the café. Not a place for families with children.
Daily 14:00-23:30, per the official !FEST website.
No. The café has an explicitly erotic, provocative 18+ theme in its decor, service and performances.
