Lviv Oceanarium at 8 Shevchenka Ave is an indoor aquarium complex in the city centre: over twenty tanks with marine and freshwater species (sharks, rays, tropical reef fish), an underwater tunnel and a multimedia 3D show. It is built for families — a visit takes about an hour, with guided tours in Ukrainian or English, costumed tours and group programmes for school groups. Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult. The ticket desk closes 30 minutes before closing time, and Monday is a short day (until 16:30).
Child ticket (3–17) costs 379 UAH, adult (18+) 449 UAH. Children under 3, children with disabilities and orphans under 18 enter free. A 10% discount applies to students, pensioners, people with disabilities and military; large families get 15%.
