Skif is the training and sports complex of the Ivan Bobersky Lviv State University of Physical Culture on Marka Cheremshyny St 17, next to Lychakiv Park. It is the oldest working stadium in Lviv — first laid out in 1897 and handed over to the physical-culture institute in 1946. The 6-hectare complex has a full-size football pitch ringed by running lanes (8 competition lanes plus an extra one), covered stands for roughly 2,000 spectators, an indoor athletics arena with a modern surface, gymnastics and fencing halls, a fitness club, massage room and sauna, plus a reserve pitch. Students and national teams train here and athletics and football events are held. Public access and rental terms should be checked with the university.
The stadium belongs to the Lviv State University of Physical Culture and primarily serves its training programme. No public-access rules are published, so ask the administration whether you can use the track.
