Selected and grouped by LvivGo from the “Airlines and destinations” tables of the Wikipedia articles Kraków John Paul II International Airport, Warsaw Chopin Airport (authors: Wikipedia contributors; as of 30.10.2026), licensed under CC BY-SA 4.0. While Ukraine's airspace is closed, the Lviv — Amsterdam route has two legs: a ground trip to a Polish airport (Krakow, Warsaw) and a flight of roughly 2 hours. Daily flights to Schiphol and Eindhoven.
Direct buses run from Lviv to the airports; Krakow and Warsaw are also reachable by train. Allow 4–5 hours to Rzeszów and 7–8 to Krakow including the border, plus the standard 2 hours at the airport.
Times and prices are approximate — check the search above for live schedules and fares.
Ukrainian citizens with a biometric passport can enter the EU visa-free for up to 90 days within 180, and a valid biometric passport is currently enough. Since 10 April 2026 the EU Entry/Exit System (EES) runs at Schengen borders: fingerprints and a photo are taken on your first entry, so allow extra time at the border. The European Commission plans to launch ETIAS — an online travel authorisation for visa-exempt nationals — in the last quarter of 2026, with the exact date to be announced (as of October 2026).
Low-cost fares (Ryanair, Wizz Air) rise as the date approaches — the cheapest tariffs go first, so 1–2 months ahead is optimal. Watch for sales: they run almost monthly, when a flight can cost as little as a bus.
