Malevich Concert Arena

Address: prosp. Viacheslava Chornovola, 2

Malevich Concert Arena is Lviv's largest concert club, next to the Opera House: two halls with their own dance floors, VIP rooms and a stage with LED screens; up to 1,400 people at a standing concert. It hosts concerts by Ukrainian and international bands, festivals and DJ parties.

Entry: by ticket for a specific concert or party; prices are set by the organiser.

!FESTrepublic

Address: vul. Staroznesenska, 24-26

!FESTrepublic is the !FEST group's creative quarter on the site of a former glass factory, just past Znesinnia Park. It houses Rebernia, Pyana Vyshnya, the Pravda brewery and a bookshop, and at its heart is a club and concert venue for festivals, parties and concerts; big shows take place in the Event Hall at !FESTrepublic.

Hours: Mon-Sun: 10:00-02:00; each venue in the quarter keeps its own hours, and the club opens for events. Check concerts.

Bars

Dzyga Art Center

Address: vul. Virmenska, 35

Dzyga is Lviv's legendary art center, founded in 1993: a contemporary art gallery, a concept cafe and a shop. It hosts jazz and electronic concerts, literary readings and film screenings.

Hours: Mon-Wed: 12:00-22:00, Thu-Fri: 12:00-23:00, Sat-Sun: 10:00-23:00. Entry: free to the gallery; some concerts and events are ticketed — see events.

The Room Wine Bar

Address: vul. Lesi Ukrainky, 18

A wine bar with a selection of European wines, cheese and meat plates and a summer terrace.

Pyana Vyshnya (Drunken Cherry)

Address: pl. Rynok, 11

Pyana Vyshnya is a tiny !FEST bar and the chain's very first venue (2015): a counter, a few tables and a shot of the signature 17.5% cherry liqueur. More a quick stop on a walk around Rynok Square than a place for a long evening.

Breweries & Beer Restaurants

Pravda Beer Theatre

Address: pl. Rynok, 32

Pravda Beer Theatre is a !FEST brewery-restaurant on Rynok Square: its own craft beer from ales to lagers, meaty food to go with it, several floors and a rooftop terrace. It's known for live performances, including the PRAVDA-orchestra brass band.

Hours: Mon-Sun: 12:00-23:00.

Kumpel

Address: vul. Vynnychenka, 6

Kumpel is Lviv's first restaurant-brewery that brews its own beer on site. Galician cuisine, big halls for groups, and regular beer tastings.

Hours: Mon-Sun: 11:00-22:00.

Getting around: in the evening, ride-hailing apps are the easiest option.

Booking: on Fridays and Saturdays, book a table in advance.
