The Church of the Holy Eucharist — better known as the Dominican Church — is Lviv’s most striking Baroque building. Built in 1749–1764 to a design by Martin Urbanik, its massive elliptical dome rests on eight columns and the façade bears the motto “Soli Deo honor et gloria”. The adjoining monastery houses the Museum of the History of Religion. Its acoustics are superb, so organ and classical concerts are held here regularly. Free entry.
