D.S. Secret Pharmacy is an interactive pharmacy museum in the cellar of the historic Under the Hungarian Crown pharmacy at 1 Soborna Square, which has operated on this spot since 1772. It is not a sacral monument or a church: the museum opened in 2012 after restorers found a hidden entrance to an underground vault that had housed a pharmaceutical laboratory in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Visits are guided only, with tours starting every hour: the guide shows the recreated laboratory and rare pharmacy equipment, tells legends about Lviv apothecaries and performs chemical experiments. A working pharmacy with an early-20th-century interior still occupies the ground floor, and the museum sells souvenirs such as pills of happiness.
