The former Jesuit church (1610–1630) is the largest church in Lviv’s historic centre, modelled on the Gesù in Rome — the city’s first Baroque building, a wide three-nave basilica with illusionistic painting. Used as a book depository in Soviet times, it is now the garrison church of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, with memorials to the fallen inside. Free entry.
