The funerary chapel of the Boim merchant family (1609–1615), next to the Latin Cathedral, is one of the finest Renaissance monuments in Ukraine. Its façade is covered edge to edge with carving — more than 40 sculptures and reliefs on the Passion of Christ — and a figure of the Sorrowful Christ sits on the cupola. Inside are a tiered carved altar and portraits of the founders. Now a department of the Lviv National Art Gallery; paid entry.
