Medovyi Bliuz is a recreation complex and demonstration apiary in the village of Lubiana (21 Nova St), Stryi district, about 30 km from Lviv. It combines camping, a picnic area and api-tourism. On site: pitches for tents and campervans with electricity hook-up, hot showers, a kitchen with utensils, a washing machine, gazebos (including upgraded ones), a summer house, event halls and a barbecue area. The signature attraction is the apiary: a guided tour with bee suits and a visit to the hives, tea in a room with transparent hives, and 'sleeping on beehives'. There are workshops (gingerbread painting, pottery, wool crafts) and tractor rides. The farm sells its own honey, tinctures, beeswax candles and preserves. Entry to the grounds is paid; a look around of up to 30 minutes is free.
An entry ticket to the grounds (everyone except infants) costs 100 UAH for the daylight hours or 200 UAH for a full day. Browsing the grounds for up to 30 minutes and buying honey products is free.
Car, trailer or tent - 200 UAH each. Kitchen for one party of up to 5 people - 550 UAH, shower - 150 UAH, electricity hook-up (up to 3 kW per hour) - 150 UAH, bedding per person - 200 UAH. Check-out at 12:00.
An apiary tour with bee suits and a visit to the hives costs 350 UAH per person (minimum 7 people). Sleeping on the beehives costs 350 UAH for 3 hours or 1000 UAH for a night. Tea in the transparent-hive room (up to 7 people) is 1200 UAH.
