'Third After Midnight' (03:00) is a museum in complete darkness at 8 Lychakivska Street in Lviv — the only place in Ukraine where tours, quests and dinners take place in total darkness, guided by blind guides. Its mission is to break stereotypes about blind people, employ them and make art accessible. The core experience is the 'Walk in Darkness': five locations recreating everyday places through sound, smell and objects, where you cross a street, pour water or recognise things by touch without sight. There is also a sensory quest, a dinner date in the dark, school excursions and team-building. Visits are by prior booking.
According to the city tourist portal: 400 UAH for the Walk in Darkness, 300 UAH for the sensory quest, 2,500 UAH for a dinner date in the dark; 10% off with the Lviv City Card. Confirm when booking.
By prior booking only — via 0300.com.ua or by phone +38 073 345 03 00. Open daily 10:00-22:00, with the last tour starting at 20:00.
Blind guides. The whole experience takes place in total darkness, so you navigate by hearing, touch and smell.
