The "Territory of Terror" Memorial Museum of Totalitarian Regimes stands on the site of the Lviv ghetto transit point and of post-war NKVD transit prison No. 25. Its permanent exhibition covers the Nazi and Soviet occupations of Lviv: the ghetto, deportations, repressions and forced resettlements. The yard holds an authentic cattle wagon of the kind used for deportations to the East, plus a collection of dismantled Soviet monuments (68 objects of Soviet monumental art). The museum runs themed guided tours, lectures and public discussions, and offers audio guides, including in English. It was initiated by Lviv City Council in 2009 and built in 2014-2016.
A full ticket costs 100 UAH; a reduced ticket for students, pensioners and cadets is 50 UAH. A group guided tour costs 1000 UAH.
Wednesday and Thursday from 10:00 to 18:00, Friday to Sunday from 11:00 to 19:00. Closed on Monday and Tuesday.
