The tallest statue of Jesus Christ in Ukraine: a 9-metre figure on a 3-metre pedestal (12 m in total, over 50 tonnes). It stands on Hoshivska Hill, the highest point of Truskavets, not far from the railway station. The statue is a scaled-down replica of Rio de Janeiro's Christ the Redeemer, designed by architect Ivan Bondarchuk; construction ran from 2013 and the statue was consecrated on 30 August 2020. An observation deck with benches and plantings surrounds the monument, offering a panorama of Truskavets and the Carpathian foothills, with photo boards showing the stages of construction. Entry is free and unrestricted; the site is open-air with no gate or ticket office. The approach road from Lesi Ukrainky Street is in poor condition, so walking up is the easier option.
