Carpathian Sea
An abandoned Soviet hydro plant on the Stryi River, halted in the 1980s. Concrete spillways, structures and a lake amid the mountains remain — nicknamed the 'Carpathian Sea', an atmospheric spot for fans of industrial ruins and unusual scenery.
