Lake Zadorozhne, nicknamed the 'Lviv Baikal', is a former Drohovyzh quarry that flooded in 1974. It lies by the village of Honiatychi in Stryi district, roughly 43-45 km from Lviv. The water is clear and deep, and there are several sandy and grassy beaches. It is not a single business but the region's largest beach cluster: at least six separate official recreation zones operate around the lake - Baykal Resort, Sky Like, Sky Like Fishing, Chorna Perlyna, Lemberg Lake and Zakhidna Palmira. They offer loungers, bungalows, gazebos, piers, food courts, sports courts, kids' areas, parking and fishing; banana-boat and tube rides and diving are available. The lake's beaches are on the official list of safe swimming spots in Lviv region vetted by the State Emergency Service. Each complex charges its own separate entry fee.
There is no single price. Around six separate private beach clubs operate around the lake, each with its own tariff. Local media put entry at roughly 200-500 UAH in 2026, depending on the complex, the day of the week and the type of spot (lounger, pouf, bungalow).
