
A three-storey Renaissance townhouse of the late 16th century at Rynok Square 2, named after the Florentine merchant Roberto Bandinelli, who opened Lviv's first post office here in 1629. Restored in the early 2000s, it has been a department of the Lviv Historical Museum since 2005 and reopened to visitors on 1 January 2025 with the exhibition 'Cossacks: From Khotyn to Vienna' on the second floor - paintings, weapons, armour, musical instruments and everyday objects of the 16th-17th century Ukrainian Cossacks - shown inside restored Renaissance interiors.

Since 1 January 2025 the second floor hosts the exhibition 'Cossacks: From Khotyn to Vienna' with paintings, weapons, armour and everyday objects of the 16th-17th centuries.
Roberto Bandinelli opened Lviv's first post office here in 1629; the Renaissance house has been a department of the Lviv Historical Museum since 2005.
