"Slovo i Holos" (Word and Voice) is a Lviv municipal theatre, artistic-research and educational centre founded in 2010 and led by singer and director Nataliya Polovynka. It is not a conventional repertory theatre but a centre combining three strands: a school, artistic research and performance. Its core material is living Ukrainian tradition — authentic singing, spiritual chants, and the voice as the actor's instrument. Alongside performances it hosts labs, workshops, early- and improvised-music concerts, and the "DREVO" tradition festival. It collaborates with the Grotowski Institute and with theatres in Spain, Portugal and France. The hall is intimate (roughly 50–70 seats), so booking ahead is advisable.
